Board of Directors
Mark Anderson - President
If you've looked at any of our sets and said ’Wow!’, Mark is the man behind it all. Serving as our Master Builder for nearly 10 years Mark has been responsible for designing, constructing, and lighting numerous sets that have been on our stage. He knows how to make a show come alive. Without Mark we'd all be walking around in the dark, with nothing but a stage to stand on. Mark is a Tool and Dye Maker for Urschel in Cranston, Rhode Island.
Paul Adam - Vice President
Paul has been an absolutely integral piece of the Theatre Works puzzle. Serving our theater as a director, producer lighting operator, and set designer for a number of successful productions he has brought nothing but good vibes to our stage. Paul, as busy as he is successful is currently mastering the art of managing for Crate & Barrel in Hingham, Massachusetts.
Sharon Charette - Secretary
If theatre works was a model airplane - Sharon would be the glue that held it together. Words cannot express what this woman does for our organization - Sharon has designed mostly all of the most beautiful and elegant costumes you've ever seen on our stage - that doesn't included the four awesome plants she dressed during our recent production of ’Little Shop of Horrors’. Sharon is our go to girl in any situation while she effortlessly serves as Library Director at New England Tech, Board member of Tech Access, Webmaster of several websites and god only knows what else!
Connie Anderson - Treasurer
Connie, an original member, has been with Theatre Works since 1983. She has been instrumental in steering this organization to success by directing and producing countless productions, assisting in lighting design, set construction, public relations and generally handling all the other little things that make this theater tick. Deb has always been there when we need her. From running the house, helping with costumes, set construction, ticket sales, promoting a show, finding intricate set pieces or props and being extremely supportive she has helped this organization more than she'll ever know. Deb is the founder and president of Just a Touch Rescue a non-profit animal rescue organization in Rhode Island.
Joshua Smith
Josh has been involved with community theater in one way or another since the age of 12 or so. Whether serving as an assistant stage manager, lighting operator, and eventually being able to work his way up onto the stage, he’s been around almost as long has Connie has. Recently Josh has become more actively involved as our newest board member serving as a counselor and visual media coordinator. Josh lovingly serves the Macintosh Community as a technician for Apple Inc.
