Local actors star in Theatre Works' version of 'God's Favorite'
WOONSOCKET - Several local actors will take the stage as Theatre Works presents the Neil Simon comedy "God's Favorite," May 2-17.
Rick Concannon of Lincoln plays the role of Joe, a tortured soul who is repeatedly asked to renounce his God, and Mark Anderson of Woonsocket plays Sidney Lipton, the nearsighted angel sent to help free Joe from torment.
Also appearing are Mary Concannon of Lincoln, Sean Arcand of Slatersville, Andrea Grondines, Stanley Eason, Sharon Harmon, and Matt King, all of Woonsocket.
Show times are 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets are $13 for adults and $10 for children under 10. Call the box office at (401) 766-1898, option 1 for reservations. The theater is located at 78 Earle Street.
